Conor McGregor and Frankie Edgar appear to have negotiated a December fight on Twitter and now need the UFC president Dana White to approve the bout. 스포츠토토비즈
UFC president Dana White has been saying for quite some time that McGregor is solely focused on a rematch with lightweight champ Khabib Nurmagomedov, who submitted him at UFC 229 in October of 2018. McGregor hasn't fought since, and White is adamant that it's because he wants the rematch. Former UFC dual-division champion Conor McGregor and former lightweight titleholder Frankie Edgar have been tossing words back and forth for several months. Their latest Twitter exchange, however, amped things up to a level where UFC officials may want to jump on the opportunity. McGregor replied to a tweet from the UFC wishing Frankie Edgar a happy 38th birthday, telling Edgar he would “see him in December.” “The Answer” said “yes,” adding that it’s on the former two-division champ and UFC president Dana White to make the fight. McGregor said he would gladly accept and donate his whole fight purse to charity. Edgar was quick to take McGregor up on the offer for a winter showdown, responding, "Thanks pal, I said yes already it's on you and @danawhite to make it happen." The UFC's big event in December is UFC 245, which already features three championship fights and would be made into one of the biggest events in the promotion's history with the addition of a clash between former lightweight champ Edgar and former featherweight and lightweight champ McGregor. The UFC’s December schedule is almost completely filled out, so the odds of McGregor returning to the Octagon this year are slim and none.

Ronaldo inches even closer to the all-time men's international goal-scoring record in the process. 스포츠토토사이트
With his 72nd minute strike, Ronaldo tallied his 700th goal for club and country in his career. It’s an incredible achievement, and one indicative of his incredible goal-scoring exploits and his long career. Ronaldo was already leading all active players globally in terms of goals scored, so his 700th is only adding to the list. His former club nemesis, Lionel Messi, still sits a reported 28 goals behind him, according to Soccerway. After them, LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the closest, and he has “only” 542 goals. Ronaldo now has 95 career international goals, pulling within 14 of Iranian great Ali Daei's previously unassailable record of 109. Now that mark remains in Ronaldo's sights, even as the 34-year-old creeps toward the latter stages of his career. Aside from his 95 international goals, Ronaldo scored 450 goals with Real Madrid, another 118 with Manchester United, 32 with his current club, Juventus, and five with his first club, Sporting CP in his native Portugal. Ronaldo is the sixth player in the history of the game to reach the achievement, joining Pele, Gerd Muller, Ferenc Puskas, Romario and Josef Bican. Ronaldo's chief individual rival, Lionel Messi, isn't far behind, sitting on 672. The 34-year-old has scored 40-or-more goals on three occasions in his career and he scored 25-or-more goals in all nine years he was at Real Madrid. For Portugal, he’s now scored an incredible 95 goals in all competitions. He had 15 goals in World Cup qualifying alone for the 2018 campaign. LeBron James believes Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey "was either misinformed or not really educated on the situation" regarding the potential consequences of his actions when he tweeted in support of Hong Kong's pro-democracy protests. 먹튀검증디비
LeBron and the Lakers just recently returned from China after playing two preseason games there against the Brooklyn Nets. While the games went on as scheduled, some ancillary events were canceled, and there was no media availability. As such, this was the first time that reporters were able to ask him about what has transpired. The Lakers superstar instead characterized the international incident caused by Morey's tweet as a cautionary tale about the power of social media. I think when we talk about the political side, I think it's a very delicate situation. A very sensitive situation. And I think for me personally, for any of you guys who know me or always cover me, you know that when I speak about something, I speak about something I'm very knowledgeable about. Something that hits home for me. Something I'm very passionate about, and I felt like with this particular situation it was something that not only was I not informed enough about, I just felt like it was something that not only myself of my teammates or the organization had enough information to talk about it at that point in time. And we still feel the same way." The standoff between the NBA and China was started by Morey's tweet on Oct. 4. He sent out an image that read, simply, "Fight for freedom. Stand with Hong Kong." He faced immediate backlash, with Chinese fans swarming his Twitter account. It didn't take long for the issue to reach the upper echelons of the Chinese government. In the ensuing days, Chinese state television CCTV issued a strong statement disagreeing with the league's stance on the matter, while Tencent, the NBA's official broadcast partner in China, announced plans to suspend all business relations with the Rockets, including no longer broadcasting their games. "When I speak about something, I speak about something I am very knowledgeable about, something that hits home for me, something that I am very passionate about," James said. "I felt like with this particular situation, it was something that not only was I not informed enough about, I just felt like it was something that not only myself and my teammates or our organization had enough information to even talk about it at that point in time, and we still feel the same way." A Rockets spokesperson didn't immediately respond to request for comment Monday night on James' remarks. An investigation into Sayed Aghazada came after abuse allegations were made against former Afghanistan Football Federation president Keramuudin Kasim, when Aghazada was general secretary. 토토픽
In a further fallout from a sexual abuse scandal, FIFA, football's world governing body, has banned a top Afghan official for five years for failing to act on allegations made by women's national team players. Karim was banned for life in June, while five other officials were suspended in December. The female players' complaints related to sexual abuse between 2013 and 2018, at a time when Aghazada, who is on the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) executive committee, was general secretary. "In its decision, the adjudicatory chamber ruled that Mr Aghazada was aware of this abuse and had the duty to report and prevent it according to the FIFA Code of Ethics," FIFA said on Friday. Karim was "guilty of having abused his position and sexually abused various female players," according to FIFA. The organization "will wait until the decision is final and binding" before making a decision on his position, it said in a statement. In December, former Afghan player Khalida Popal told CNN some of the abuse took place during a seven-day training camp in Jordan at the end of January last year. Popal, who was forced to flee Afghanistan and now lives in Denmark, was present at the Jordan training camp. She said that at least five women were abused in their rooms by two male officials, who had been sent by the AFF to accompany the players. Other players were not willing to speak to the media publicly, fearing for their safety and that of their families, Popal said. In April, Aghazada was elected to a four-year term on the Asian soccer confederation’s ruling committee. This was despite the Afghan soccer body being subject to ongoing investigations. Before the elections, former FIFA vice president Prince Ali of Jordan had called on Afghan candidates to be barred while implicated. Infantino said the idea was in response to Thursday's announcement tmat governments, philanthropists and private firms had pledged just over $14 billion for a plan to save 16 million lives. The money was promised at a replenishment meeting in Lyon, France, of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria, where host French President Emmanuel Macron had exhorted countries to give as much as they can. “When President Macron called to ask for support, I said immediately that FIFA and world football are always available to contribute for the good and obviously also for this planetary cause which is a great initiative,” Infantino said. "We will work together on the concept of an event to raise funds and raise awareness about this cause using the power of football," he added. This "big event" whose contours have not yet been specified, should take place next year, added Fifa. The three pandemics still kill nearly three million people a year, including 1.6 million for TB in 2017 and more than 435,000 for malaria. By 2018, nearly 38 million people were living with HIV and the number of infections, of the order of 1.7 million, "remains unacceptable," according to the Global Fund to Fight Pandemics. Between them the pandemics of AIDS, TB and malaria cause three million deaths per year. Brandon Vera feels Aung La N Sang can take him past first round in title fight When Brandon “The Truth” Vera became ONE Heavyweight World Champion at ONE: SPIRIT OF CHAMPIONS in December 2015, his life changed forever. 스포츠토토사이트
The Filipino-American superstar had always dreamed of winning his sport’s top prize, and he fulfilled his lifelong ambition when he knocked out Paul Cheng in front of his fans in Manila, Philippines. BRANDON Vera gets what he wished for as he takes on Aung La N Sang for the ONE light heavyweight title in ONE: Century in Tokyo, Japan on October 13. Brandon Vera, the reigning heavyweight champion, aims to become a two-division titleholder as he faces “The Burmese Python” in the co-main event of the 100th show of Asia’s premier MMA organization. Vera made a decision to challenge Aung La earlier this year, so he sought the permission of ONE Championship Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong. Aung La defended his title against Ken Hasegawa at ONE: A New Era last March. Vera congratulated him on his win before humbly and respectfully challenging the Burmese fighter for the light heavyweight title. “I wasn’t very comfortable doing that inside the cage. It was Aung La N Sang‘s time to shine, but I’ve been wanting to become a double titleholder – a champ-champ – and I’ve always wanted to challenge for the ONE Light Heavyweight World Title,” said Vera. #WorldChampion #BrandonVera #MMA Lionel Messi plans to retire at Barcelona; confirms he wanted to leaveLionel Messi made his professional debut for Barcelona in 2004 and made his international debut the following year. 스포츠토토비즈
Messi has spoken out on his future ahead of the upcoming Copa America, and revealed that he could retire prior to the 2022 World Cup, when he will be 35. Messi, told RAC1 that his plan is to retire with Barcelona, as suggestions he would finish his playing career at hometown club Newell’s Old Boys or maybe to even join Pep Guardiola at Man City seem to be well and truly over. The Argentine superstar has been with the Catalan club his entire career after coming through their La Masia academy, and has won four UEFA Champions League titles, 10 La Liga crowns and has been named the best player on the planet six times. “Yes, my idea is to stay for many years. I’ve always thought this way and nothing has changed,” Messi said. “It’s clear that my idea is to finish my career at Barca. Especially because of what I feel for the club and for my family. We are very happy in Barcelona. From my childhood I have dreamed of playing for Newell’s because of what football means in Argentina, but sometimes one has to prioritize the family. I wouldn’t like to break up the friendships that my children have made here, as happened to me when I was little.” “In 2013-14, I did want to leave Barca. There was a situation that went beyond what I felt for the club. I wanted to leave Spain because of the tax issue. I felt mistreated… I don’t think that there is anything new to report regarding my contract extension, but there will surely be no problem if it materializes. With the club, everything is always simple.” |
